Frequently Asked Questions

What is deposit policy?
If you would like to make an appointment, I require a deposit of € 50,-. This deposit is refundable till 2 days before our appointment. The deposit will be taken off of the total of your tattoo. For multiple session pieces, it will come off of the final session. If a design is done but you decide not to go ahead with it, it is considered a design fee.

Can I reschedule my appointment?
If you would like to reschedule, please let me know 48 hours prior to your appointment date and 2 schedule changes are available. If you do not let me know 48 hours in advance or reschedule more than 2 times, your deposit will get forfeited.

What should I do before my appointment?
Get a good rest, drink lots of water and avoid alcohol 48 hours before your appointment.  Be sure to eat before coming in and bring food and drinks to snack on throughout the day for longer sessions. There is a parking in front of the building . Wear loose, clean, comfortable clothing.  It may help to bring along a scarf or small blanket.  A book or headphones often help people relax and take their mind off of the pain.

Can i bring a friend?
You are welcome to bring friends along, but I ask that no more than 1 joins you in the tattooing space.

How do I take care of my new tattoo?
The outcome of your tattoo depends on many factors, including how you take care of it!  Please protect your new piece of art. After 2-4 days, remove the bandage and wash gently with warm water and a mild, unscented soap. Let it dry and apply a thin layer of aftercare lotion (must be water-based and unscented) and repeat this 2-3 times a day until it is fully healed. Showering is fine but avoid hot water and excessive sweating for the first few days.  Do not submerge your tattoo in water (baths, saunas, pools, lakes, etc) and avoid sunlight during healing.  Your tattoo needs to breathe.   Do no rewrap and avoid tight clothing. After a few days, your tattoo may start to flake and become itchy.  Continue to moisturize and do not pick or scratch. If you notice redness and/or swelling around the tattoo, fever or any other signs of infection, please let us know and see your doctor. Sunlight will cause fading so it is important to use an SPF 30+ and continue to moisturize your tattoo for long-term aftercare.

Can someone under 18 get a tattoo?
